Movie time

Been a few days since I last updated ANYTHING on the site. Why? I have absolutely no clue. Could be something to do with living a life or something. I dunno, could be wrong. OHHHH WAIT! Some things have happened. I played in the Coaches Soccer Game on Friday. FUN! I hurt my shoulder sliding into someone. = ) I don kare. AND my lags are sore. Again, I don kare. All in the name of fun. At least the team I coach beat the girls team. It was a gender battle royalle if you hadn't guessed yet. The coaches teams were mixed. Not enough women - ))sigh((.

Today was EDGAR ALLEN POE day in the History Campaign. I must say Rahotep did a mighty fine job. Kudos Rahotep. Thanks for the game and thanks for letting the rats and heated wall from the "Pit and the Pendulum" happen to be Ramses's story. Loved the fact that his neck was NEARLY CLEAVED!

I will have online upto date shots of my mug soon enough because I just ordered a web cam. HAHAAHAAA!!!!

On the MOVIE TOPIC, I came across a MUST SEE MOVIE for next year - Eight Legged Freaks. You can download the trailer from the Warner Brothers site for the movie. The 50's scary monster movies fights its way back into the ring! How cool.

Also, I saw K-PAX this weekend. My opinion - people will be saying the same thing about this movie as they did about AI. It's long, it's slow, it's boring. WAKE UP and read into the movie. There's a whole lot to interpret in these films. Athos and Rahotep both enjoyed the film as well. We all liked > AI < too. If that means anything to you good. If not, then you need to see the movie(s) again. One sentence should help and it's a retro thang - thank you Transformers - more than meets the eye...<- meaning -> out

An interesting article found it's way onto my desktop. Ok fine, I was reading the news and came across this story:

Court Rules Against SHTHPNS Plate
In its ruling, the U.S. 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a trial court's decision in favor of the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles saying, ``The state has a legitimate interest in not communicating the message that it approves of the public display of offensive scatological terms on state license plates.''

The appeal was brought by Paula Perry who had sued the Motor Vehicles Department saying she was a victim of ``viewpoint discrimination'' when it revoked her specially requested vanity plates that bore the shorthand version of the phrase ``s--t happens.''

Perry, who owns the car with her husband, paid a $20 fee for the plates that she received from the state in July 1997.

New Comic Day

I took today off, why? Well, firstly I had to bring me mudda to the airport and secondly... I needed a few hours to myself. Feels good too. I took a look at the news and felt quite disgusted by it. I watched - "Karma Ghost"again and felt better after someone asked me "Why should I be good?" I replied back with the "Karma Ghost" link. It's not that easy in the real world, but it's a nice representation of what happens internally. Or, should happen internally.

Other than that, I found my way to http://www.robohouse.com/ where I found out what kind of robot I am. As much as it makes sense. The answers I provided resulted in the pic on the left "Roy Batty."Click it to find out 'What robot you really are..." My reaction to this result was, "ENH?

Friday is not meant to be a vervous day - d'oh - nervous day

I'm at home (10:31 AM) and my nerves are going wild. I can't type. I would define my hand eye coordination as non existant. I've had to retype words about 3, 4 or even 5 times since I started typing. Oh MAN, my nerves are, "UGH!" I can't say EXACTLY why, but it's work related. To those in the corporate world you'll understand what "Friday" means when your job in is question. I'm not concerned about my job more so than my company, yea - bigger issue at hand here.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Needed to let that out. Okay... breath Gar. OK, I tried walking around a bit... not working. Ever try finding the Post Office's number in your towns phon book. ?!!? I did, I guess I'm a NOB because I can't find it. (after about 5 min & a phone call to the mudda) it is now found.

Just to add to the stress of the day, this makes sense...

I had a GREAT day today

Exceeeeept for one thing. I deem that thing, akai no kami. I want quiet! On a flip to that emotion, I'm happy to say I'll be playing "Nat" in "Witch on Blackbird Pond" at NVCC. Yea me! Looks like my evenings will be filled with lotsa Ed rehearsals. Heh heh. Though they may be long, they are quite fulfilling. Job number two (2) is coming about soon, though it's going to be a Difficult/Fun/Learning road - yet again.

I've been waiting for something like this to find its way out to the press. Keeping my religious views to myself at the moment I think we all should really consider something here. We want to remain UNIFIED, but how? Which slogan would work better for that resolve - "United We Stand" or "God Bless America"? Think about this before you blurt out anything. OK, so after spending an amazingly wonderific evening on 9/29 (sat) at the "Black Rock Castle" in Bridgeport with JC, Isa, BZ, BT, DS, SD, and FM I came home with my hoarse voice and dried out body. WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEEDED water! So instead SD and I talked till 4. Not that long considering we got home at 2:30ish. Yea fun. While at the Castle we sang, everyone sang, to America. We all sang to the USA! Damn what a powerful moment to have experienced. It was absolutely AWESOME! The Highland Rovers, the band we went to see, helped to raise over $1000 dollars in a couple hours. It was such a great evening. I want to do it again... Maybe this upcoming weekend. Hmmmm.
