High Latency
I apologize to those of you that have actually visited recently. I've been more than overwhelmed with "The Glass Menagerie" due to a heavy rehearsal schedule. Things have been on a nice smooth road recently. I don't know why, so for once I'm going to let it go along without deep introspection. I only hope it doesn't bite me in the ass in the long run.
The world seems to have found it's way back to normality with debates about a memorial to the firemen changing the 3 white men to 1 white man, 1 black man and 1 hispanic. Interesting as the debate is I'm not going to get into it here. The first male brothel has just declared bankruptcy in Germany. Apparently money changed hands AFTER the act(s) were performed. Um... yea, idiots. And a new forum for the intellectual -- flipmeover.com. Check it.
The show goes up Jan 31 and runs for 4 shows. It's going to be a wild ride. The show is extremely complicated and I've been learning so so much about my character (Jim O'Conner). I've also learned that I have been cast in Gypsy (a musical - my first) and The Water Engine (scheduled to tour Europe for 1 to 2 weeks). Needless to say I'm extremely excited about this. My hopes of visiting Japan for the World Cup look out of reach due to a lack of tickets. I relied on certain people to follow through with some needed steps. Alas, new opportunities present themselves and I'll be damned if I let them slip by.
This is going to be one hell of a year. I will achieve new levels. I will accomplish things I have planned on and I will make it a wondrous year. This is the financial "black year" - that, as you accounts out there know, is a miraculous achievement.
The only portion of my life that remains in limbo is the same portion that has remained in limbo for years now -- a steady relationship. So, all you mentally stable, physically attractive, extroverted, intelligent, open-minded, caring, style oriented women out there -- do take a moment and introduce yourself when you have a moment....<- meaning -> out
